White Meadow Chiropractic Health and Wellness takes your privacy seriously. This page explains what information we collect when you visit our site or come into the office, how we use it, and what control you have over it.
This covers everything on whitemeadowchiro.com, our booking forms, our SMS reminders, and any other way you interact with us online. If anything here isn’t clear, just call the office and ask.

What we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact details you give us: name, phone, email, and address (when you book, fill out a form, or send us a message).
- Health and visit information you share: symptoms, history, insurance details, anything written on a new patient form.
- Appointment information: the date and time you booked, the type of visit, who you saw.
- Messages you send us: SMS, email, contact form text. We keep a record so we can follow up properly.
- Basic site analytics: pages visited, browser type, rough city-level location, how you found the site. This is collected through standard tools like Google Analytics and isn’t tied to your name unless you also fill out a form.
We do not sell your information. Not to insurance companies, not to data brokers, not to advertisers.
How we use it
We use what you give us to:
- Schedule and manage your appointments
- Verify insurance benefits before your visit
- Send appointment reminders and important updates about your care
- Respond to questions you send through forms, email, or text
- Improve the website (knowing which pages people read helps us write better ones)
- Meet legal and HIPAA recordkeeping requirements
That’s it. We don’t use your information for unrelated marketing or pass it on to third parties for theirs.
Text messages (SMS)
If you opt in to text messages, you’ll get appointment reminders, occasional office updates, and the ability to text us back if something changes. You’re agreeing only to messages from us, never resold or shared with anyone else for advertising.
A few specifics:
- Frequency varies depending on your appointments.
- Standard message and data rates from your carrier apply.
- Reply STOP anytime to stop receiving messages, or HELP for assistance.
- Opting in to texts is never required to book an appointment or receive care.
We don’t share your phone number or your text consent with any third party other than the carrier services that actually deliver the messages.
Health information (HIPAA)
If you become a patient, your health information is protected under HIPAA. That means we can share it with other providers involved in your care, your insurance for billing, and government agencies when required by law, but not with anyone else without your written permission. You can read the full Notice of Privacy Practices at the front desk on your first visit.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar tools to keep the site working properly and to understand which content people find useful. You can clear cookies anytime through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
How your information is stored
Patient records live in HIPAA-compliant systems. Anything submitted through the site travels over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. We use reasonable technical and physical safeguards to keep things safe, though no system on the internet is 100% secure.
Your rights
You can:
- Ask what we have on file for you
- Ask us to correct something that’s wrong
- Ask us to delete what we can (some patient records we’re legally required to keep for several years)
- Unsubscribe from texts or email reminders without affecting your care
To make any of these requests, email [email protected] or call (973) 699-4161.
Links to other sites
If we link to a third-party site (booking software, Google Maps, social media), their privacy practices apply once you click through. We can’t control how those sites handle your information.
Children
This site and our services aren’t directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone in that age group. If you believe we have, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we’ll change the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be flagged at the top so you don’t have to dig.
